Powder Coating
- Capacity: 12' long, 40, 48"tall
- Powercoating is a process where the metal product that is
to be coated, is pretreated to remove any paint, oil, or grease residue.
After the preparation is completed and the product is completely dried, the
metal is then hung onto a rack where it is taken into a 'spray booth'. It is
here that the metal is coated with dry powder fed from a powder reservoir
using compressed air. As the powder passes thoroughly the specially designed
applicator tip, it is given a positive charge which is 'strongly attracted'
to the negatively charged metal part. Once the product has been coated, it
is ready for the baking processes. It is subsequently baked
and the particles fuse together to form a smooth durable coating.
YOUR PRODUCT MUST WITHSTAND BEING BAKED AT 400 DEGREES.
